Stock Ledger Report

The Stock Ledger shows stock movements that matter for stock reporting.

The report tries to show stock in the smallest practical units.

That means:

  • single cans usually stay as single cans
  • cartons and packs are usually converted into the number of single cans or bottles inside them
  • mix packs are usually converted into the items inside the mix pack
  • O 現在 (Remaining Total) is the running balance after each row
  • normal stock movements are broken down
  • linked transform actions are excluded

In other words:

  • normal incoming, returns, fulfilled stock, report-as-sold stock, and discarded stock usually appear in the smallest units
  • linked repackaging and linked mix pack package / unpackage actions do not appear as stock movement rows on this page

Used when stock is added into a sales channel as normal incoming stock.

Example: adding single cans

DateSKUB IncomingO Remaining
2026-03-16BIGI-B30124124

Why:

  • This example assumes the opening balance was 100.
  • 100 + 24 = 124.

Example: adding cartons

DateSKUB IncomingO Remaining
2026-03-16BIGI-B30148148

Why:

  • This example assumes the opening balance was 100.
  • If you add 2 cartons of 24, the report usually shows 48 single cans.
  • 100 + 48 = 148.

Example: adding mix packs

If 1 mix pack contains:

  • 2 x BIGI-B301
  • 2 x BISS-B301

and you add 3 mix packs, the report can look like this:

DateSKUB IncomingO Remaining
2026-03-16BIGI-B3016106
2026-03-16BISS-B301686

Why:

  • This example assumes the opening balances were 100 BIGI-B301 and 80 BISS-B301.
  • 3 mix packs becomes 6 BIGI-B301 and 6 BISS-B301.
  • 100 + 6 = 106
  • 80 + 6 = 86

D 戻入れ / E 戻入れの理由 (Return / Return Reason)

Section titled “D 戻入れ / E 戻入れの理由 (Return / Return Reason)”

Used when stock comes back into stock from a return.

Example: returned single cans

DateSKUD ReturnE ReasonO Remaining
2026-03-16BIGI-B3012Customer return102

Why:

  • This example assumes the opening balance was 100.
  • 100 + 2 = 102.

Example: returned carton

DateSKUD ReturnE ReasonO Remaining
2026-03-16BIGI-B30124Customer return124

Why:

  • This example assumes the opening balance was 100.
  • 1 carton of 24 is usually shown as 24 single cans.
  • 100 + 24 = 124.

Example: returned mix pack

If 1 mix pack contains:

  • 2 x BIGI-B301
  • 2 x BISS-B301

the report can look like this:

DateSKUD ReturnE ReasonO Remaining
2026-03-16BIGI-B3012Customer return102
2026-03-16BISS-B3012Customer return82

Why:

  • This example assumes the opening balances were 100 BIGI-B301 and 80 BISS-B301.
  • 1 mix pack becomes 2 BIGI-B301 and 2 BISS-B301.
  • 100 + 2 = 102
  • 80 + 2 = 82

Used when stock leaves because it was fulfilled or reported as sold.

Example: fulfilled singles

DateSKUG OutgoingJ OrderO Remaining
2026-03-16BIGI-B3016#100194

Why:

  • This example assumes the opening balance was 100.
  • 100 - 6 = 94.

Example: fulfilled carton

DateSKUG OutgoingJ OrderO Remaining
2026-03-16BIGI-B30124#100276

Why:

  • This example assumes the opening balance was 100.
  • 1 carton of 24 is usually shown as 24 single cans.
  • 100 - 24 = 76.

Example: fulfilled mix packs

If 1 mix pack contains:

  • 2 x BIGI-B301
  • 2 x BISS-B301

and you fulfil 2 mix packs, the report can look like this:

DateSKUG OutgoingJ OrderO Remaining
2026-03-16BIGI-B3014#100396
2026-03-16BISS-B3014#100376

Why:

  • This example assumes the opening balances were 100 BIGI-B301 and 80 BISS-B301.
  • 2 mix packs becomes 4 BIGI-B301 and 4 BISS-B301.
  • 100 - 4 = 96
  • 80 - 4 = 76

Used when stock is removed without a sale, such as damage, breakage, or waste.

Example: discarded singles

DateSKUN DiscardedO Remaining
2026-03-16BIGI-B301397

Why:

  • This example assumes the opening balance was 100.
  • 100 - 3 = 97.

Example: discarded carton

DateSKUN DiscardedO Remaining
2026-03-16BIGI-B3012476

Why:

  • This example assumes the opening balance was 100.
  • 1 carton of 24 is usually shown as 24 single cans.
  • 100 - 24 = 76.

Example: discarded mix pack

If 1 mix pack contains:

  • 2 x BIGI-B301
  • 2 x BISS-B301

the report can look like this:

DateSKUN DiscardedO Remaining
2026-03-16BIGI-B301298
2026-03-16BISS-B301278

Why:

  • This example assumes the opening balances were 100 BIGI-B301 and 80 BISS-B301.
  • 1 mix pack becomes 2 BIGI-B301 and 2 BISS-B301.
  • 100 - 2 = 98
  • 80 - 2 = 78

This is the running total after each row.

Example:

StepChangeO Remaining
Opening stock-100
Incoming+48148
Fulfilled-6142
Discarded-3139

Why:

  • The remaining total starts from the opening stock.
  • Each row then adds to it or subtracts from it.
  • 100 + 48 - 6 - 3 = 139.

Linked sales repackaging itself is not shown as an incoming or discard row in the Stock Ledger.

Example:

  • You repackage 24 single cans into 1 carton in the same sales channel.

You will not see a row like this:

DateSKUB IncomingN Discarded
2026-03-16BIGI-B3012424

Why:

  • The repackaging action is a linked transform.
  • Linked transforms are excluded from the Stock Ledger page.

The same applies if you unpackage 1 carton back into 24 singles.

Linked mix pack package / unpackage actions are also not shown as incoming or discard rows in the Stock Ledger.

Example:

  • You package:
    • 2 x BIGI-B301
    • 2 x BISS-B301
    • into 1 mix pack

You will not see rows like this:

DateSKUB IncomingN Discarded
2026-03-16BIGI-B30122
2026-03-16BISS-B30122

Why:

  • The package / unpackage action itself is a linked transform.
  • Linked transforms are excluded from the Stock Ledger page.

The Stock Ledger shows:

  • normal incoming stock
  • returns
  • fulfilled stock
  • report-as-sold stock
  • discarded stock

The Stock Ledger usually shows stock as:

  • the smallest single units
  • or, for mix packs, the items inside the mix pack

The Stock Ledger does not show:

  • linked sales repackaging rows
  • linked mix pack packaging rows
  • linked mix pack unpackaging rows

Worksheet names are generated with the following format:

  • {sku} {product title}

Any invalid characters will be substituted with -
The worksheet name will be truncated to 31 characters
If the worksheet name has been used, it will be appended with (n) suffix

Example worksheet title that breaks all the rules

  • sku: IPAG?-C301
  • product title: Double Indian Pale Ale of the Gods?

Worksheet name:

  • from: IPAG?-C301 Double Indian Pale Ale of the Gods?
  • to: IPAG--C301 Double Indian Pale A
If this worksheet name is already taken (which should not be possible):
  • to: IPAG--C301 Double Indian Pal(1)
