Shop Products

In February ‘25, we released a major update to the Shop Product page which added additional functions and greatly improved the UI.
We are currently working on documentation for the new features, but for a quick summary…

Improvements include:

If another Shop Product exists that is linked to the same Product, the user is given a link and summary of that other Shop Product
User can now delete a Shop Product
When creating a Shop Variant:
- User can now set the price
- User is shown additional information on pricing for price tiers and any other shop variants which is also linked to the same variant
Alerts are shown to the user if:
- The inventory levels differ from Sales Channels levels
- A shop variant is not being tracked
- There is a mismatch between the Shop Variant and the linked Variant
- If there are Shop Variants which can be created

What can you do with Shop Products?

A single Product can be sold on multiple shops. There are multiple reasons you would want to do this, including:

You want to offer different prices for different customers
Selling Business to Business (B2B) has different tax implications than if you sell Business to Customer (B2C)

BrewKeeper allows you to create a shop product per shop which holds different inventory levels and prices.

In the diagram below, we see a product (IPA 2024) being sold in both a B2B and B2C shop, with key differences:

The prices are different in each shop
Single cans are not offered in B2B, and kegs are not offered in B2C
