Splitting Rules

  • A new batch is created if you do a partial transfer
  • Transferring the full remaining volume does not count as a partial transfer

When you can split a batch

  • When transferring from one vessel to another
  • When filtering from one vessel to another

Additional information

  • Filtering to the same vessel have 0% loss
  • Bypass Filter will have 0% loss, whether to the same vessel or a different vessel
  • You cannot split or merge when you Bypass Filter

  • You can only merge the same brand recipe

When you can merge two batches

  • When Transferring
    Transferring occurs during fermentation
  • When Final Filtering
    Progresses you to the “Finishing” stage (pre packaging)
  • When Bypassing Filter
    Progresses you to the “Finishing” stage (pre packaging)
